The annual base salary for this position ranges from $83,900.00 in our lowest geographic market to $165,900.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are searching for a Senior Professional, Brand Engagement. You will be an integral member of the Brand Engagement team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of world class seasonally integrated marketing plans that build brand and business impact for the Converse brand. In this role, you’ll be consumer centric in everything that you do, while driving the future of the brand forward.

The candidate should have a consistent record in consumer marketing or digital marketing. We are looking for a self-starter, future forward thinker, innovator and teammate. You should have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal and have a deep knowledge of new digital platforms. You’ll be creative and have an authentic passion to be connected to Gen Z, and are tapped into sneaker culture.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you’ll support the development of social plans, briefs, concepts and creative implementation. You will own specific projects/launches within a season and lead a team to achieve seasonal business and brand goals.

With a digital first approach, you’ll put the consumer at the center and obsess over insights to drive the plans forward while building and maintaining relationships with key partners within the organization.

Key areas of focus will include:

Community Building & Management: Engage with, listen to, and grow our social communities through monitoring, responding to and engaging directly with our followers.

Platform Management: Manage distribution (scheduling and posting) of all content across global social media channels and maintain daily hygiene of all handles – updating bio copy and links, highlights, playlists, etc.

Content Development: Support team in conceptualizing and creating compelling social-first content.

Social Listening: Keep a pulse on sentiment and trends across social ecosystem, elevating opportunities to react and participate.

Brand Voice: Maintain and evolve brand TOV across social platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand positioning.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

We’re a diverse, inclusive, innovative and hardworking team. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Sr Manager of Brand Engagement. On a day-to-day basis you will work with cross functional teams in:

  • Brand Creative
  • Key City
  • Entertainment
  • Retail
  • Digital
  • Marketing Operations

In addition to that, you’ll be working closely with external agencies to lead creative development and execution.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
  • 4+ years proven experience in consumer marketing, digital marketing or related experience including social strategy, planning and implementation, delivery and creative thinking/idea generation experience.
  • Strong eye for creative with knowledge of the industry and competition
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of today’s most popular social platforms and their place in Gen Z culture.
  • Internet junkie, tapped into streetwear/fashion news with the ability to identify social media trends across style, sports, art, music, pop culture, etc.
  • Proven experience in social media management and community management for a brand(s), executing a best-in-class engagement strategy with fans/followers.
  • Strong writer with the ability to adapt to a brand TOV, embodying brand persona in all outbound messaging.
  • Creative thinker with excellent written and communication skills.
  • A highly motivated and collaborative worker, able to drive projects forward independently, deliver within tight timelines and work cross-functionally.
