Huggins Wood Floor Specialist is a premier custom wood flooring company recognized for its work with discerning clients and leading design professionals. Our reputation is built on exceptional craftsmanship, design expertise, and delivering a truly elevated client experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Administrative/Personal Assistant to provide direct support to our CEO. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role where projects and deals often move quickly, requiring someone who is resourceful, adaptable, and thrives under deadlines. The right candidate will be a reliable problem-solver who can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated one-on-one administrative support to the CEO
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, monitor and respond to emails
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with clients, partners, and team members
  • Assist with day-to-day personal tasks and run local errands as needed
  • Prepare and distribute marketing materials
  • Support the hosting and coordination of CEU (Continuing Education Unit) lectures
  • Assist with basic website updates and design tasks
  • Organize and maintain digital files and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members on various office and project initiatives

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Ability to work in person at our Westfield, NJ office

Additional Information

  • On-site role (not remote)
  • Flexible hours: 20–35 hours/week, with potential for full-time
  • Compensation: $18–$19/hour, commensurate with experience
  • Eligible for performance-based pay increases every 6 months
