What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as a trusted HR business partner to plant leadership, aligning workforce strategies with operational and business objectives
Provide oversight of HR practices within a unionized manufacturing environment, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of the CBA
Lead employee and labor relations activities, including grievance management, investigations, and corrective action, with sound judgment and risk awareness
Drive talent management and workforce planning efforts, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development for hourly and salaried populations
Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, policies, and recordkeeping requirements
Partner cross‑functionally with operations, safety, and leadership to foster a high‑performing, engaged, and safety‑focused workforce
What Are We Looking For
Proven experience in Human Resources or related field, preferably in a union, manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases, Workday preferred. Solid MS Office skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Work Environment
- This position is in a manufacturing location and is an on-site position.
