Job Title: ESG Product Manager

Role Responsibilities:

Top Accountabilities

  • Platform Operations & BAU Support: Own daily operations of the applications including data ingestion/refreshes, issue resolution, performance monitoring.
  • Ensure platform reliability, data quality, and timely support for business users.
  • Coordinate with BAU support and data teams to handle incidents, enhancements, and user queries within defined SLAs.
  • Act as the Primary Interface for Business Partners: Build strong relationships with Global Sustainability, Sustainable Procurement, ESG Internal & External reporting , Supply chain, and Finance teams. Gather evolving requirements, provide platform updates, and ensure alignment between business outcomes and technical delivery.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Product Evolution: Monitor platform adoption, performance metrics, and user feedback to see opportunities for improvement. Partner with Microsoft and internal development teams to incorporate new features, data sources, or reporting capabilities aligned with sustainability goals.
  • Product Backlog Management & Feature Prioritization: Own and groom the MSM enhancement backlog based on business needs, compliance updates, and technology upgrades.
  • Balance short-term fixes and long-term roadmap goals, coordinating delivery through Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with analytics, enterprise architecture, design/UX/UI, and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality features.
  • Act as a connector across functions, facilitating alignment between technical feasibility, user experience, and business value.
  • Governance & IT Controls Compliance: Ensure the ESG applications adheres to IT governance, audit, and compliance frameworks including ITGCs, SOX, GDPR, and internal security protocols.
  • Cost/Effort-Benefit Analysis & Partner Negotiation: Ability to conduct comprehensive Cost/Effort-benefit analyses and negotiate with partners to prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals improving project value.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 8+ years proven experience in Analytical product management, platform ownership, or sustainability/ESG tech leadership.
  • Validated experience defining product roadmaps, handling cross-functional teams, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), & Fabric is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with ESG/sustainability frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, GRI, ISSB).
  • Proven understanding of IT controls, data governance, and compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and team member engagement skills.
