Position: Assistant Controller
Are you passionate about Real Estate and eager to become the right-hand person to the President of a prominent New York City Real Estate firm, Citadel Realty Services? We are open to candidates who are dedicated and eager to learn. As an Assistant Controller, you will manage the finances of multiple properties, including regular interaction with banks, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and operation of multifamily properties
- Collaborate with contractors and superintendent daily
- Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure compliance with property laws and regulations
- Maintain smooth daily operations and promptly resolve any arising issues
- Interact with vendors, employees, and clients
- Ensure timely vendor payments, taxes, and mortgages
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus
- Prior experience in property management or Real Estate is preferred
- Strong knowledge of property management and regulations is helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in AppFolio is preferred
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
- Must have a “CAN DO” attitude!
