The Opportunity:
Are you a motivated and driven sales professional with a passion for sports and community engagement? Do you have experience in sponsorship sales and a knack for building relationships with potential partners? If so, we want to hear from you! BASE Sports Group is looking for a Commission-Only Sales Representative to join our team and sell youth sports sponsorships.
This is a fully remote, commission-based position that offers unlimited earning potential. You’ll have the opportunity to work with top-tier brands, local businesses, and organizations to secure sponsorship deals for youth sports teams and events across the country. If you’re a self-starter with a proven track record in sales and a passion for sports, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential sponsors for youth sports teams, leagues, and events by leveraging your network and research.
- Sales Outreach & Relationship Building: Contact and build relationships with brands and organizations to present tailored sponsorship opportunities.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Lead the sales process from start to finish, including pitching sponsorship packages, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the BASE Sports Group team to align on strategy, messaging, and key opportunities.
- Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients post-sale to ensure a high level of satisfaction and continued business.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Some sales experience, preferably in sponsorship, advertising, or sports marketing.
- Passion for Sports: A genuine interest in youth sports and a desire to support the growth of these programs through partnerships.
- Sales Skills: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay motivated to meet targets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to high-level decision-makers.
- Network: Existing relationships within the sports, marketing, or sponsorship industries is a plus.
- Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time effectively.
