Since 2012, Our Ability has been the conduit between companies with workforce development needs and the countless number of people with disabilities who are unemployed or underemployed. By cultivating relationships in the business, disability, higher education, and service provider communities, and as a certified disability owned business, Our Ability has a unique perspective on solving the issue of access to employment through Jobs Ability.
In our continuous effort to support employment outcomes, we realize the disconnect between understanding the needs of students and recent graduates with the needs of the business community. We are building a beta test for a communication system that will allow individual seeking employment a better opportunity to connect with businesses that hire.
We are seeking 50 individuals that we can work with overtime in a beta test. Our request would be that we can text you once every six months and ask the following questions:
- Is this your existing cell phone that you use on a majority basis?
- Can we confirm that you are still employed at this organization? If not, where are you working presently?
- Can you provide your LinkedIn profile link?
- If you have a LinkedIn or Jobs Ability profile, is it up-to-date?
- Are you actively seeking new job opportunities or work promotion within your existing company?
