Bio: Jen Nettleton is a Special Projects Coordinator for Empire Online at Empire State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oneonta in Mass Communications and a Master of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Curriculum and Instruction both from The University at Albany, SUNY.
Jen has done numerous presentations (workshops, individual and group presentations, and posters) at various local and national conferences related to instructional design, educational technology, and nursing education. She has reviewed manuscripts and abstracts for the Journal of Asynchronous Learning, Online Learning Consortium, and the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education. Her professional and academic interests include training, professional development, online and higher education, instructional design, nursing education, and adult learners.
